Epiblading removes the outermost layers of dead skin cells, as well as any fine hair, leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple and vibrant. There is no downtime with this treatment, and it can be done as a stand-alone treatment, or combined with Microdermabrasion or a chemical peel.*

The Procedure

Epiblade is performed with a surgical blade at a 45 degree angle glided over the skin. It is recommended to be performed every 4 weeks to increase product penetration.

This treatment can be combined with a peel to intensify the benefits and aid in deeper exfoliation and/or a mask to deeply hydrate the skin.*

Recovery from Epiblade

Epiblade has little downtime, unless it is performed with a chemical peel. The skin may appear slightly flushed initially, but this should subside very quickly. It is completely painless.*

Frequently Asked Questions

Epiblade/Dermaplaning is a highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel held at a 45 degree angle to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair.
Epiblade is especially effective on those with dry or rough skin texture and it helps to minimize superficial acne scarring or uneven skin tone. It is also beneficial for more mature skin, which tends to have a buildup of dead cells as cellular turnover slows down with age.

As no chemicals are used it can be good for those that are allergic or sensitive to peels.

We avoid treating anyone with active acne as this will only worsen the condition.

Epiblade is only performed on the face.
