Marilyn Cassetta — BSc N, CPSN, RN
Marilynwas fortunate to become one of America’s first Aesthetic Nurse Specialists in 1986. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as being a Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse. Marilyn’s early career focused on the Reconstructive aspect of Plastic Surgery, working with Burns over seven years. Those early years were to destined to prepare Marilyn withunique understanding of skin, specifically in the realm of Cosmetic Plastic Non-Surgical procedures.

Marilyn has worked in America and Australia, selected by Collagen Corporation®, as an Advanced Technique Trainer from 1992-2000, teaching dermal filling techniques to doctors and registered nurses throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Marilyn specialises in cosmetic nonsurgical procedures such as dermal fillers, muscle relaxers,and microsclerotherapy. Her goal with every treatment is to obtain natural looking, youthful results, within a comfortable, almost pain free environment. This process begins with a thorough consultation, in which all appropriate options from low cost, minimal down time, non-surgical treatments to the more substantial, one-off surgical procedures, when appropriate. All options are discussed in order to help the client decide which treatments or procedures would best meet their budget and lifestyle needs.

Ginelle Kelly — Dip App Sc (Nurs) RN
Ginelle Kelly is an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and an aesthetician. Her first cosmetic surgery experiences were working in theatre. She chose to use her artistic approach to specialise in cosmetic non-surgical enhancement, since 1993. Ginelle has a vast range of experience in injecting dermal fillers and wrinkle treatments. She can also combine these with skin peels and lasers to achieve maximum results.

Specialising in facial rejuvenation, Ginelle also uses the latest medically proven technology (elos® IPL laser) to treat fine lines, wrinkles, scars, skin pigmentation, texture, pores, capillaries, and for hair removal. She also uses microdermabrasion, and a range of chemical peels including glycolic, salicylic, and Jessner’s, as well as TCA Peels.

Ginelle trained in both Europe and Australia and attends ongoing courses, bringing overseas knowledge to the practice. She provides her patients with choices to suit their individual needs and budgets. Ginelle’s previous surgical experience enables her to obtain the best results with non-surgical options.

Maureen Cole — Dip BTh, ITEC, CIDESCO IFA, AABth
Maureen Cole is a paramedical aesthetician with more than 20 years of experience in the skincare industry. She has completed diplomas with ITEC and CIDESCO, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Beauty Therapy, a Certificate in Advanced Skin Analysis and a Certificate in Paramedical Aesthetics.

She has several years of experience with IPL and laser techniques for hair removal and photorejuvenation, which includes vascular lesions and pigmentation. Her individually tailored programs ensure each person’s requirements are fulfilled.

Maureen is also highly experienced in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage. Ideal both pre- and post-operatively, MLD is a gentle massage that is designed to harness the body’s own healing powers. It stimulates blood flow and assists the lymphatic system to eliminate toxins and waste from the body. Getting the lymph fluid moving through the body greatly assists inflammation, blotchy skin, bruising and the healing process in general, and is relaxing and totally pain free.

Natalie Todd — R.N B.N
Natalie is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Sydney. She further undertook post graduate qualifications in Paediatric Nursing studies. Most recently she worked in the high dependency recovery unit at the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, where she gained skills in caring for peri-operative patients. Prior Natalie worked in a paediatric medical, surgical and mental health unit.

Her prior experience at the Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick covers peri operative nursing incorporating scrub/scout, post anaesthetic care, and anaesthetic nursing where she first gained exposure to Plastic surgery.

Natalie has always had a passion for health and beauty and started working at Silkwood Medical at the beginning of 2011, hoping to gain further skills in peri operative nursing. Working closely with the surgical team, her goal is to provide high level and individualised patient care before and after surgery.

When not at work Natalie spends her time pursuing her interests in yoga, surfing and snowboarding.

Jill Adams — DIP BTh, ITEC, CIDESCO IFA, APAA
With more than 20 years of hands-on industry experience and numerous Australian and international diplomas to her credit, Jill Adams is acknowledged as one of the country’s leading cosmetic tattooing practitioners. Jill is passionate about helping her Silkwood Medical clients to bring out their best features and achieve the look they have always wanted.

Having worked for many years as a qualified colour consultant and talented makeup artist, Jill became intrigued with the possibilities of cosmetic tattooing and trained with Australia’s foremost practitioner and teacher, Val Glover-Hovan – a professional assessor for both AAPA and AABth.

With more than five years of professional cosmetic tattooing experience behind her, Jill now devotes herself full-time to this exciting medium and continues to undertake training to provide her Silkwood Medical clients with the latest techniques and procedures.
